Client & Project: NBL in house Podcast Studio
Tasked with transforming an uninspiring meeting room, I set out to create a vibrant studio featuring two distinct podcast recording zones for the NBL and other platforms. This project presented a refreshing challenge, as it required designing a lasting, functional space rather than a temporary setup. The process was thoroughly enjoyable, and I relished the opportunity to craft an environment that fosters creativity and collaborative energy.
There are moments in this line of work that feel almost surreal—like spray painting a trolley bright pink and laughing at the fact that it’s actually part of the job! Set design has truly become a passion for me, offering the perfect blend of creative expression and practical problem-solving. I love being able to tap into my design experience while also getting hands-on, piecing everything together with whatever resources are at my disposal. Collaborating with such talented creatives made this project even more rewarding, and their expertise played a huge role in bringing the vision to life.
